Creative Writing Workshops for Ages 11-13 and 14-17
Do you love to write in English?
Are you passionate about reading and want to write in a supportive environment? Would you like to meet other creative teens? Come nurture your talent with experienced writers from Israel and abroad. This workshop will explore the craft of writing in a wide array of genres, including fiction, memoir, playwriting, slam poetry, poetry, fantasy, songwriting & visual journaling (interplay of word & image). There will be two events over the course of the 20-week program - a guest writer, an open mic, film & discussion or outing. Register now to reserve your spot. Day: Wednesday Dates: Jan 17, 24, 31; Feb 7, 14, 21; Mar 6, 13, 2019 (8 sessions) Ages: Group 1: 11-13 & Group 2: 14-16 Time: 18:00-19:15 (Group 1); 19:30-21:15 (Group 2) Venue: TBD Min/max teens: 5/10 Fees: 150 NIS per session (a total of 1,200 NIS) Olim within 5 years of aliya will pay only 120 NIS per session (a total of 960 NIS.
