You want to hold the book you wrote in your hands...

Yet instead you find yourself:
  • staring at the blinking cursor, your mind a complete blank
  • researching just one more detail before you get down to writing
  • hitting the delete key again and again because the words don't match up to your imagination
  • folding laundry instead of sitting down to write

And your family and friends have started to roll their eyes when you talk about your book.

Imagine instead:
  • knowing you have an ever-replenishing spring of words inside of you
  • confidently alternating between writing and researching material
  • letting go of perfectionism and trusting the creative process
  • feeling excited to sit down and work on your manuscript

Take a deep breath. I'm here to help you.

Schedule a free consultation to discuss your writing dreams and together we'll explore how we might work together to make those dreams a reality.

From fantasy to attainable goal

'When I first came to coaching sessions with Nadia, writing a book was a fantasy. Over a few sessions, it became a dream, and now it's an attainable goal.'

- Freddy Freundlich, author of Born on the Right Side of the Tracks

Why work with Nadia?

I bring my deep editorial insight and a kind supportive approach to bear when helping you understand and embrace the process of writing work you're proud of and want to share with loved ones or with the world.

First of all,
I identify your strengths, and through editorial feedback, tips, and guidance, I encourage playful experimentation to broaden your skillset so your writing keeps improving. In addition, I help you set achievable goals, and offer accountability and problem-solving ideas along the way.

My MA in English Literature and Creative Writing from Bar-Ilan University, publication in international literary journals and anthologies, editorial experience as a fiction editor at an international literary journal (The Ilanot Review) and years of teaching and coaching all contribute to a focused, dynamic, and nurturing working relationship.

As a Jewish writer living in Jerusalem, I offer a haven for stories from writers all over the world. A safe space to explore and create is especially important given the current climate of war, political volatility, and antisemitism. In the last few years, it has been a privilege to have helped writers share their personal experiences of growing up in apartheid in South Africa and fleeing genocide in Darfur alongisde literary and mainstream fiction.

The power of belief
and encouragement

'Nadia, you have this deep belief in my project that encourages me. You’re always finding me new exciting avenues to go down, and the fact you get excited, gets me to write more.'

- David Schwartz, Notes on Notes: Stories of Music and the Human Experience

What does working together look like?

Our work together is tailored to your specific needs, goals, and time constraints. You may want to meet on Zoom weekly, fortnightly or monthly. We will meet to discuss your schedule and what will help you best and structure our work together accordingly.

I've coached some clients to get back on the wagon pitching and submitting their work and guided others to write consistently and break through fears that were holding them back.

I've mentored clients through the process of editing and refining their short stories, essays, novels, and memoirs from raw notes to manuscripts ready for publication.

Let's discuss what you need and how I can help you.

'Taken care of...as an artistic person'

'There is always a touch of something very beautiful in the way you communicate that makes me feel taken care of both professionally, as a human being, and as an artistic person.'
