Providing writers a safe and supportive environment

Hi! I'm Nadia. I was the teenager whose parents got concerned calls from the English teacher who believed what I wrote in my creative writing exercises.

While this should have given me confidence ('Great, I write convincing prose!'), I felt exposed and this sent me underground for years.

I wrote on the sly or sent postcard fiction (before it was a "thing") with outrageous holiday tales to friends and family to see whether they believed me.

This formative experience made me passionate about helping writers write whatever they wanted to write in a safe and supportive environment.

Let me help you reignite your passion for writing and  assist you on your writing journey.

Why work with me?

I bring my deep editorial insight and a kind supportive approach to bear when helping you understand and embrace the process of writing work you're proud of and want to share with loved ones or with the world.

First of all,
I identify your strengths, and through editorial feedback, tips, and guidance, I encourage playful experimentation to broaden your skillset so your writing keeps improving. In addition, I help you set achievable goals, and offer accountability and problem-solving ideas along the way.

My MA in English Literature and Creative Writing from Bar-Ilan University, publication in international literary journals and anthologies, editorial experience as a fiction editor at an international literary journal (The Ilanot Review) and years of teaching and coaching all contribute to a focused, dynamic, and nurturing working relationship.

As a Jewish writer living in Jerusalem, I offer a haven for stories from writers all over the world. A safe space to explore and create is especially important given the current climate of war, political volatility, and antisemitism. In the last few years, it has been a privilege to have helped writers share their personal experiences of growing up in apartheid in South Africa and fleeing genocide in Darfur alongisde literary and mainstream fiction.

The power of belief
and encouragement

'Nadia, you have this deep belief in my project that encourages me. You’re always finding me new exciting avenues to go down, and the fact you get excited, gets me to write more.'

Taken care of

'There is always a touch of something very beautiful in the way you communicate that makes me feel taken care of both professionally, as a human being, and as an artistic person.'
- S.L.

Express experiences and emotions

'I wanted to write travel stories for my grandchildren but only knew professional and informative writing. It took me a while to learn how to express experiences and emotions. Your lessons granted me a new skill and I have now written a book of short travel stories using our personal recollections and excitement and illustrated it with photos of our fascinating trips around the world. I hope it will stimulate the grandchildren to travel to faraway places and learn about different cultures. Thank you so much for enabling me to understand the role of storytelling and how to communicate it to my grandchildren.'
